“PANICAN’S” Listen up! The cost of eggs just dropped! to $6.00 from $9.00 a dozen in my area…
I know there is a lot of fear mongering going on; most due to misinformation and some is mere propaganda intended to hinder Trumps agenda to make things BETTER!
I for one expected this and no one should be surprised. The phrase that comes to mind is “no pain no gain“. The tariff threats circulating around the globe have been mischaracterized; Trump is merely saying he will respond in kind! TIT for TAT is the phase. Panican’s need to realize that we did not have a FREE TRADE ENVIRONMENT before TRUMP. The nations of the world had by in large blocked US products and services by enacting TARIFFS. Giving them unfair advantage, Did you hear me? THEY STARTED THIS AND WE ARE GOING TO STOP IT! We will have a level playing field, whether they like it or not!
It took decades of BAD POLICY to get us where we are today and I am willing to give Trump’s policies time to rectify the situation. I really don’t believe it will take long. I hear over a hundred countries have already agreed to end their tariffs. The worlds economies are in worse condition than we are, I assure you they will capitulate soon!
The price of eggs came to be the gage and rallying cry for most of the PANICAN’s to convey how bad things were. Not to say it wasn’t a real main street concern but I personally feel our US citizenry and economy are fickled, to say the least.
US sports fans will pay thousands to attend a Super Bowl. Politicians will give free phones to people driving luxury cars to pickup their food stamps and welfare checks. The Gen “Z” kids will pay hundreds and thousands of dollars for the latest trends in electronic toys and fashion! Yet, I doubt they could or would fry an egg, let alone know what’s behind the reasoning of these economic realities.
Also, the price of a barrel of oil is down below $60 a barrel. This results in lower gasoline prices for everyone, of course this will vary across the globe depending on the state our the nation of your residence, and the tax rate tagged on to the price of a gallon of gas to pay for outrageous social programs.
The bottom line is; we must get over the instant gratification syndrome! Even the worst opponents of Trump policies will eventually come to mutually benefit or as they would say equally benefit from them, time will tell.
So my advise to all is; chill out! Hold on or buy that stock that was $100 yesterday but is a true bargain today but won’t be long! Watch America get wealthy AGAIN!
