It is so frustrating to me when I hear people questioning why God would “allow” something to happen. They want to hold God accountable for what they themselves or society as a whole have allowed! Yes, the sins we commit and the sins of others create the opportunity for evil to prosper! This is called ACCOUNTABILITY to God which so few teach now even in the Church. I call it CHEAP Grace! It certainly wasn’t cheap from Jesus perspective but if we don’t acknowledge that we have a critical role to play in His plan of SALVATION then we truly “neglect” so great a salvation! Repentance is a must!!! Accountability is a must! it’s in our hands! God will not be MOCKED!

The image I chose to feature in this article reveals the fault-lines of the Mideast. As they say, “a picture is worth a thousand words”. These faults are very active and seismic predictions suggest those faults represented by the color “red” could shift anytime in the near future.

Update! This original article was first published in July of 2022. Since then many earthquakes have occurred in the Middleast. Two of which occurred on 2/6/2023 measuring 7.8 and 7.5 on the Richter scale. Buildings were flattened across Turkey and Syria, causing a death toll of more than 50,000 people.

In a recent time of prayer, I asked God, “why has the church universal lost its place in the life of so many professed Christians?” The answer came quickly and frankly startled me!
