Will the “peace maker” emerge?

By: Randall E. Pickens Sr.

Oct. 7, 2023 Israel finds itself at war on the eve of Shabbat and the close of the Feast of Tabernacles. The enemies of Israel perceived a moment of weakness and seized upon the opportunity to attack a distracted populous. In prophecy we know that Israel’s enemies will perceive this weakness but to their dismay their efforts will be crushed; not by the IDF but by the hand of God! I have always said that the “peace maker” or more specifically the “covenant … for one week” can’t emerge without a war; well here we are and the question now is who will negotiate this fragile covenant?

Stay tuned for the wrath to fall on Gaza and whom ever else will join the fray! Then we will see a 7 year “peace treaty” negotiated that will be broken at 3 1/2 years.

Dan 9:27  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

This verse in Daniel is universally regarded as a reference to the antichrist who will emerge initially as a good guy in a time of great trial (war) in Israel. I have always believed that Gog of Ezekiel 38/39 would be the cause of such a war and then present the environment for the rise of the antichrist and the 7 year tribulation period. I sense we will soon find out the truth of the matter.

In either case, I hope you are aware of the seriousness of the times and have made sure of your salvation by the blood of Jesus Christ. There is going to be a period of conflict such as the world has never seen before! I believe Jesus made a way of escape we call the Rapture. The finale then will last at least seven years and this may well be the catalyst event to start the count down to Armageddon. Are you ready?

Call me a an escapist or a radical, it really doesn’t matter to me but know this! You can not say you didn’t know! You see, I told you so and when you stand before the thrown of judgement you will be reminded of this moment!
