Sign of the Times

Jesus warned us In Matt 24 and Luke 21 of a time forthcoming referenced as “the beginning of sorrows”, when wars and rumors of wars would be common place. This article’s featured image represents current wars raging throughout the world in 2021. These wars are fueled by the typical motives being, geopolitical differences, territorial disputes, resource shortages and just plain hatred. So this is really nothing new!

If the media weren’t so obsessed with their social agenda and pushing their deviant behavior on the public you would realize that the world is swiftly moving from sabre rattling to legit preparations for war. Unfortunately, most Christians have their head in the sand and can’t see the deteriorating and threatening world around them.

(Luk 21:36)  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

It seems there is no middle ground between extreme or opposing positions; you are either seriously watching as instructed or you have no clue how close we are to the END OF THE AGE!

Luk_21:36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Wars on the horizon!

Russia clearly has their eye on the Ukraine and shows no fear of the United Nations or the United States. China has their eye on Taiwan and Hong Kong and also has no fear of the UN or USA. Iran wants to push Israel into the Sea. Two of these previous allies who we have since come to know were really never our friends but shared a common enemy. So goes the winds of war and the shifting of power. We will have to face these enemies in the near future or be defeated by the deviants from within and their perverted social agenda and self destruction.

The world wars of the past all hoped to be the end of all wars but never has any war truly brought peace to the world! If their was any relief from these wars it would be short lived and mostly out of sheer exhaustion, weariness, and insolvency rather than the victory of resolve! From the USA perspective, never has the term “TO THE VICTOR GO THE SPOILS” been farther from the truth. Not only have we paid dearly in blood and treasure we have paid for the restoration of our enemies and created new ones by meddling in the affairs of other nations in the name of democracy! I call it doing business with the devil! I learned long ago that you can’t buy friends! Our politicians know this too but are willing to sell us out for personal gain.

The wars we have fought in the past which were based on survival all ended with promise where those based on geopolitical and resource interest have blurred the vision and resolve of our people. Those that were called upon to fight have become bitter and distrusting of the war mongers and their machines. These wars take our sons and daughters from us in their prime and if they are so fortunate as to survive are returned to us used and abused. The end of conflicts being determined by shifts in political interest rather than achieved principle. Even the distinction between enemies and allies become distorted.

ALL These Things (collectively)

Now we must understand that Jesus told us that this war mongering alone would not be the sole evidence of the end times but rather in association with other events. Matt 24:7-8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows

Note that this map of 2021 Hunger due to famine and pestilence occurs in the same foot prints as the our feature map, Wars and Rumors of Wars. It shouldn't be surprising that all of the signs Jesus mentioned in Matt 24 are occurring presently. Earthquakes as well as volcanic events are increasing in frequency too!

In Luke’s account we hear additional details but the culmination of these events is a blessed promise; Luke 21:28  “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh”. My concern is that when legit threats come we are so distracted and exhausted from failed political conflicts that we will not be willing or even ready to protect our nation. That is why we are told to look up because our help will not come from traditional sources. Only God will be able to save us from the destruction to come.
