Can Turkey be trusted?
The short answer for those of you who speed read and bail,
No!
Is the Turkish president a “silver tongued devil” or just the “devil”? The Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared this in 2020, “Jerusalem is ours. One of our cities,”. Then in 2021, Erdogan calls Israel a “terrorist state”! The featured image for this article shows Turkey’s president Erdogan wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh , a chequered black and white scarf that is typically worn around the neck or head. This scarf has become a symbol of Palestinian nationalism. Not so subtle display of support I’d say!
But now he wants to partner in oil and gas ventures with Israel to further advance his plan to reestablish the Ottoman empire. I suggest you read this previous article which will give you some insight into Erdogan’s plan to control or rather starve his neighbors and adversaries into submission! I pray Israel is wiser than the the serpent….
Have you seen the recent headlines? “Turkey-Israel Relations Continue to Thaw After Erdogan, Netanyahu Meet for First Time” and then “Turkey and Israel will explore joint drilling in East Mediterranean, Erdogan says”
Note that the quote is from Erdogan not Netanyahu. Also the fine print reveals that Greece and Turkey are both courting Israel over energy cooperation. Turkey fears Greece may succeed and then Turkey would lose an opportunity to strengthen their strangle hold.
They don’t mention that Turkey has been strong arming Greece over claims to Northern Cyprus for years and threatened war over land and East Mediterranean oil reserves. I personally would not advise Israel make any arrangements with Turkey that could strengthen Edogan’s ability to control his neighbors and Europe through oil, gas, and water pipeline networks. This could in fact be the “hook in the jaw” that will reveal the opportunistic Gog of Magog spoken of in Ezekiel 38/39. See my commentary on Ezekiel 38 and 39 for details.
Turkey’s president Erdogan is a dangerous leader who will deal with anyone to advance his personal agenda. He has a foothold in Europe through NATO and the Baltic nations. He is an Arab with influence with all Islamic nations. He is friends with the US and Russia; which ever suits his immediate interest . It is difficult to know his true allegiance other than self. He lives by the mantra; “the enemy of my enemy is my friend“! He is not the partner without risks! Israel BEWARE!
Update! 10/25/23 Turkey’s Erdogan says Hamas is not a terrorist organization, then cancels trip to Israel! Good to know the truth about Turkey! The cloak of deception is removed. As I have said, Erdogan is a definite candidate for GOG! Erdogan is not a friend to Israel or the West in general. He can not be trusted!
