HEATWAVE UPDATE!
Last Jun 23, 2022 the temperature in Iran reached 126°F, the hottest temperature recorded on Earth that year so far!
Iran already held the record from June 2017, when they broke the record then for Asia’s highest temperature ever recorded. It was a scorching 129.2 degrees in the southwestern city of Ahvaz. The feels like temperature was estimated at 160 degrees Fahrenheit. The previous June record was 127.4 degrees. It appears that global warming may be legit, however, I would debate the cause and the target locations!
There has been so much talk of “Global Warming” lately and so many opinions as to the cause. Many debates ensue over whether this is man-made or not? Actually, prophecy says it is undoubtedly caused by man! No, it’s not about mans carbon emissions but rather mans “SIN” and hatred of Israel. (Malachi 4:1-3) Malachi speaks of the “Day of the Lord”. The final dispensation of salvation and judgement. Jesus also told us in His Olivet discourse (Matt 24) that the elements of the earth will convulse due to the evil of man and the close of the age will introduce earthquakes, volcanoes, heat waves, water shortages, famines, and pestilence. He also says that if this time of trouble were not shortened there should be no flesh saved! (Matt 24:22-23) But there is still hope of salvation for those elect who endure to the end! He will gather the wheat but will burn the chaff. (Matt 3:12)
The Day cometh! (Malachi 4:1-3) – Judgement!
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this
Malachi is a man of few words so we must realize those “few” words cover a lot of territory. Malachi’s last words to us regarding the events that will precede the coming of the Messiah warn the wicked, proud and boisterous of a burning (judgement) that will leave them no root nor branch. The heat wave that struck the middle east the summer of 2015 occurred on the very day the Ayatollah Khamenei cursed Israel and called for the annihilation of the Jews. We have seen what happens to leaders that boast of their intentions toward Israel, i.e. remember Egypt’s Pharaoh, Balak of Moab, and Haman of Persia! Israels enemies reap what they sow!
This Mideast heat wave continues but for now I would point out that ISRAEL HAS NOT SHARED IN THESE EXTREME TEMPERATURES; what was meant for Israels destruction was turned to their enemies…Jerusalem’s low today was 57 degrees and the high was 83 degrees.
