The older I get the more obvious it is to me that what should be a Holy celebration has become a secular nightmare. The message of “peace on earth, good will toward men” has been lost to so many. The peace and good will toward men can only be provided by God! The commercialization of a Holy occurrence has shamefully obscured the fact that “Emmanuel”; God with us is the only gift that merits discussion or should be celebrated. I am so thankful for the gift of Jesus the Christ!
This truth is what inspired the poem, Time With Us. Please consider this truth this year.
